Radio mics

In this category, we can discuss all problems relative to the use of radio mics. It would be interesting to specify the place and frequency problems arise during use.
With detailed and constant updates we can, in a short time, develop statistics as to where our problems lie.

Audio Workflow

This category is open to various fields: sound engineers, film editors, assistant editors, sound editors.
It is important to open communication between the areas of expertise.
What type of audio files were used.
Was the recording in mono mix or with separate files.
How the files were acquired and managed by the editor.
How the material was transfered from film editor to sound editor.
What are the comments from every link in the chain.

AES Italia is currently conducting roundtable talks with the goal of creating a document that outlines the course of the work process from the set to mix guaranteeing Quality, Speed and Ease.
It won’t be law but as a certified organ for international standards, this document will be cited as an authorized guide in instances when, by ignorance, our work has been damaged.
For this reason it is especially important that those who have something to say, do so.

Editing

A place where all the editing and sound editing categories can discuss the aspects of their work.

Fidac

This is the part of the Blog that AITS puts at the disposition of the new federation.
It is our desire that this be the virtual town square where the inhabitants, film and television workers, meet up to talk about their jobs, the problems and experiences and, why not, the positive results obtained.
