Extracts fron our Statute:

Art. 2
The A.I.T.S. is a non-political, non-profit-making association that was constituted in complete autonomy in order to operate in total independence.

Art. 3
The purposes of the A.I.T.S are/shall be:

A) to include in a/one single organization at a national level, regardless of any assignment, job or professional classification/distinction, all/as many technicians that operate within the show business to record, process or reproduce sound, in particular those who operate in the fields of/with movie production, television and sound recording studios or carry out activities that derive/result from and are closely connected or linked to the ones listed/mentioned above.

D) to act on every level, both regulative and technical, as well as advisory and operational, in order to promote constantly the improvement and (the technical) modernization of the equipment, the means, the technical systems and the management of the facilities/structures belonging to the cinematographic/film and television industry, from the making to the distribution of show business products, accordino to the best qualità levels and norms acknowledged or prescribed by the related international standards.

E) to establish, in Italy as well as abroad, efficient external cooperation links with other associations, public and private bodies/structures, leading personalities, industries and companies that earn or involve the professional and cultural interests of their members, even if operatin in non specific fields, to obtain the purposes/objectives stated so far.

F) to promote, carry out or stimulate every other type of activity, including advertising and didactics, that may be useful to the assertion and the life of the association.
